Lebenshilfe Foundation Nordrhein-Westfalen
Supporting parentless and disabled people
Even simple wishes need to be fulfilled. Sometimes it is a radio, a small musical instrument or taking part in an educational or recreational weekend that people with learning disabilities desire most. Unfortunately public funds are limited as far as these individual needs are concerned.
The Lebenshilfe Foundation Nordrhein-Westfalen wants to support children, teenagers and adults who do not have parents or whose parents have no or little income by giving financial donations or other contributions. Additionally the foundation supports sporting activities such as therapeutic riding-lessons and offers free advice on all questions concerning inheritance allowance and asset management. The foundation guarantees a direct, individual and uncomplicated application process.
The foundation was founded in 1992 by consul-general Paul R. Kraemer and his wife Käthe. It is since been financed by funds from its founders and a donation from the deceased director of studies Friedrich Harling. Since 2002, it has also been supported by “Ehrenkuratoren”. These are individuals and companies from the business, political, social, and sports sector who donate an annual amount of money. In this way, the foundation’s idea will also be established into our society and economy.
